Our approach

Primary Source Content

The anti-slop strategy. Ideas, narratives, stories, customer pain points, and thought leadership sourced from the primary source, which is you and your team. We use AI to help shape your brand's narrative. We never use it to invent one.

Everyone can generate content now. That's the problem.

The cost of publishing a competent-sounding article went to roughly zero, and buyers noticed before marketers did. When every vendor in a category can produce the same well-structured explainer on the same topic in an afternoon, none of it is worth reading and none of it is worth citing.

AI search made that worse and better at the same time. Worse, because the volume of competent-but-empty content exploded. Better, because a model answering a buyer's question has to pick something to quote, and it cannot quote a claim that nobody actually made.

The material you need is already in your team's heads

Your founders and engineers hold the specific, first-hand detail that nobody else can publish. It is sitting in sales calls, support tickets, and roadmap arguments. The hard part is getting it out of their heads and onto a page, on a schedule, without it costing them twenty hours a month.

That is the whole job. We run the interviews, do the digging, and handle the writing, so the only thing asked of your side is an hour or two of talking.

How it works

01

We interview the people who actually know

Founders, CTOs, heads of product, sales leads. Recurring calls covering roadmap, recent sales conversations, what buyers keep pushing back on, and which competitor keeps coming up. For Crafter CMS that meant regular calls with CEO Mike Vertal and CTO Russ Danner. For dotCMS it was Co-Founder Jason Smith and CRO Stefan Schinkel.

02

We mine the calls for what only you could say

Most of what comes out of an interview is already public. The useful part is the rest: the objection your sales team hears every week, the migration story with a real number attached, the opinion your CTO holds that the category disagrees with. That is the material nobody else can publish.

03

Keyword data decides where it goes

An insight with no search demand behind it is a LinkedIn post, not a content programme. We map what came out of the interviews against keyword and buyer-stage research, so a real point of view lands on a page people are actually looking for.

04

AI helps shape it, never invents it

We use AI the way any modern team does, for structure, for pace, for pulling a long transcript into a usable outline. What it never does is supply the substance. Every claim, story, and number traces back to a named person who said it on a call.

When this is the wrong approach

It needs an hour or two a month from someone senior. If nobody on your side can commit that, the interviews thin out and the content drifts back toward the generic middle, which is the thing this is meant to avoid. It is also slower to start than handing over a keyword list, because the first month is spent listening.

For teams that need volume on well-trodden topics with no particular point of view attached, a straight SEO content engagement is the more honest fit, and we will say so on the call.
